The Riello VSR 800 rackmount UPS is the rackmount-style version of the Vision INE interactive series, providing 0.8 kVA (640 W) of backup power for servers, peripherals and network hardware. This line-interactive uninterruptible power supply includes an automatic voltage stabiliser to compensate for mains sags and surges, a Cold Start function for start-up without mains, a backlit LCD display for status monitoring and an EnergyShare socket to allow selective load-shedding and extend battery runtime for critical equipment.

Advantages

The VSR 800 offers plug-and-play installation in a 1U rack form factor and delivers up to 98% operating efficiency to reduce energy loss. Its EnergyShare output enables prioritisation of essential loads by switching off less critical devices during extended outages. Automatic voltage stabilisation protects connected equipment from undervoltage and overvoltage events, and the Cold Start feature lets the UPS be started from battery when mains power is not available. Integration with Riello PowerShield3 software allows safe, automated shutdown of connected systems.

How to use

Install the VSR 800 into a standard 19-inch rack (1U space) and connect critical equipment to the UPS outlets, placing non-critical devices on the EnergyShare socket if you plan to use load-shedding. Connect the UPS to mains power to charge the internal sealed lead-acid battery (typical recharge time about 6 hours). Usage recommendations
