Rittal 7979.238 is a metered power distribution unit (PDU) designed for IT racks and data centre installations. The unit provides 30 AC outlets (combination of C13 and C19), a nominal input voltage of 400 V, a maximum current of 16 A and a maximum power rating of 11,000 W. The PDU is supplied in a grey aluminium/plastic housing with a 3 m power cable and a vertical form factor (44 × 70 × 1695 mm) suitable for mounting in server cabinets, including installation in zero-U space of compatible racks.

Advantages

The PDU offers per-phase energy measurement with ±1% kWh accuracy to EN 62053-21 and integrated monitoring features such as adjustable warning and alarm thresholds for voltage, current and power. It is self-powered (no external supply required), includes an integral real-time clock with replaceable battery, an electromagnetic buzzer for acoustic alarms and an operating hours meter. How to use

Install the PDU vertically in the server cabinet or in the zero-U space of a compatible rack, securing it according to the rack manufacturer’s instructions.
