Roof Vent Panel Rittal for VX IT and TS IT cabinets, 600 mm width, 3 fans, max airflow 600 m³/h, light gray
Roof vent panel Rittal for VX IT and TS IT cabinets, 600 mm width, 3 fans, max airflow 600 m³/h, light gray provides active top-side ventilation for 19-inch server and network cabinets. Designed to fit cabinets with a 600 mm internal width, this roof-mounted panel integrates three fans that together deliver up to 600 m³/h of airflow to assist heat extraction from rack-mounted IT equipment and to support controlled internal airflow management.
The panel offers a compact, vented roof solution that is compatible with Rittal VX IT and TS IT cabinet ranges, enabling focused removal of warm air from the cabinet top. Built to integrate three cooling fans, it increases airflow capacity compared with passive roofs and helps reduce internal hotspots. The light gray finish matches typical IT cabinet aesthetics and provides corrosion-resistant surface treatment suitable for data centre and telecommunications environments.
This roof vent panel is intended specifically for cabinets with a 600 mm width and compatibility with the VX IT and TS IT ranges; it will not fit cabinets of different widths or non-compatible series. For installations that require integrated environmental monitoring, redundant fan trays, or a higher total airflow than 600 m³/h, a different roof solution or additional cooling components may be required.
Install the roof vent panel in place of the standard roof panel on compatible VX IT or TS IT cabinets with 600 mm width following the cabinet manufacturer’s mounting instructions. Connect the fans to the cabinet power supply or to the facility power according to the fan electrical requirements and local electrical regulations. Position airflow direction to exhaust warm air out of the cabinet top and verify that intake paths at front or rear cabinet openings are unobstructed to maintain effective airflow through the rack.
Use the panel as part of a comprehensive cabinet cooling strategy: ensure clear front-to-back airflow paths, perform periodic fan inspections and filter cleaning if filters are used, and monitor cabinet inlet/outlet temperatures to confirm the panel meets cooling objectives.
