Rittal Dach-Lüfterblech for VX IT / TS IT cabinets, 800 mm width, 4 fans, max airflow 800 m³/h, light gray
The Rittal Dach-Lüfterblech for VX IT / TS IT cabinets is a roof fan panel designed to fit cabinets with an 800 mm width. It integrates four fans with a combined maximum airflow of 800 m³/h to support active ventilation at the top of server and network enclosures. The unit is finished in light gray and is intended to improve internal airflow, reduce heat accumulation at cabinet tops, and assist in maintaining stable operating temperatures for IT equipment in data centres, server rooms and network closets.
The roof fan panel provides targeted extraction of warm air from the top of the cabinet, helping to stabilise internal temperatures and support rack cooling strategies. With four integrated fans and a rated combined airflow of up to 800 m³/h, it delivers higher extraction capacity compared with single-fan solutions while keeping installation effort low. Its form factor is matched to the VX IT and TS IT cabinet top with 800 mm width to ensure fit and mechanical compatibility. The light gray finish allows for unobtrusive integration into typical IT environments.
This roof fan panel is intended specifically for cabinets with an 800 mm width and for use with the VX IT and TS IT series; it may not fit other cabinet models or widths. It is designed to assist ventilation and is not a replacement for properly sized room cooling or environmental control systems in large data centres with high heat loads.
Install the roof fan panel on the top opening of a compatible 800 mm wide VX IT or TS IT cabinet following the cabinet manufacturer’s mounting instructions. Connect the fans to the appropriate power source and any available fan control or monitoring interfaces as specified by the cabinet or facility electrical design. Position cabinet airflow management accessories (blanking panels, cable management) to optimise airflow paths so warm air is drawn upward and exhausted by the roof fan panel. Regularly inspect fans for dust accumulation and mechanical wear and follow routine maintenance procedures to ensure continuous operation.
For best results, use the roof fan panel as part of a coordinated rack and room cooling plan: combine with blanking panels, proper cable management and room air conditioning. Monitor inlet and exhaust temperatures to validate that the 800 m³/h extraction capacity meets the thermal requirements of the installed equipment and adjust fan control or room cooling accordingly.
