Flightcase Roadinger 31005202 for 8× LED IP PAR fixtures (holds 12×8W each)

Roadinger flightcase model 31005202 is engineered to store and transport up to eight LED IP PAR fixtures specified as 12×8W each. The case combines a robust outer shell with internal foam or racking designed to hold lighting fixtures securely during storage and transit. It is built for repeated use in touring, event production and rental operations, reducing handling time and protecting fixtures from shocks, dust and moisture encountered during travel and stage work.

Advantages

The construction offers reinforced corners, durable exterior panels and lockable latches to keep fixtures secured. Internal cushioning and accurate compartment sizing prevent movement and reduce the risk of impact damage. The design improves organization, enabling faster rigging and teardown by keeping power and data connectors accessible. The flightcase accommodates fixtures with IP-rated housings and provides a stable stacking footprint for efficient transport logistics.

Suitable for

• Touring bands and mobile production crews
• Event rental companies and staging services
• Fixed-installation transport between venues
• Storage of LED IP PAR fixtures between shows

Key specifications

• Capacity: holds up to 8 LED IP PAR fixtures
• Fixture compatibility: designed for fixtures specified as 12×8W each
• Construction: reinforced outer shell with protective corners
• Internal protection: foam inserts or padded compartments to minimize movement
• Hardware: heavy-duty latches and recessed handles for secure handling
• Stacking: flat top and stable base for safe stacking during transport

How to use

Open the flightcase and position each LED IP PAR fixture into the designated compartment, ensuring cables and accessories are arranged to avoid pinching when closing. Close and latch the case fully; use padlocks on the provided latch points if additional security is required. When transporting, use the recessed handles and avoid dragging the case to prevent wear on the exterior. For long-term storage, leave fixtures with minimal attached cabling to reduce stress on connectors and verify latches and hardware before each trip.

Usage recommendations

For safe transport, distribute weight evenly when loading and avoid exceeding the capacity of eight fixtures. Inspect internal padding periodically and replace worn foam elements to maintain protective performance. Clean the exterior after exposure to dirt or moisture and lubricate latches if they become stiff.
