Lavalier GO is a professional-grade clip-on microphone designed for use with the RØDE Wireless GO and most devices that accept a 3.5 mm TRS microphone input. The microphone features a 4.5 mm omnidirectional capsule, a Kevlar®-reinforced 1.2 m cable and is available in black and white for easier concealment on different clothing.

How to use

Connect the 3.5 mm TRS plug to the microphone input of your Wireless GO transmitter or compatible recorder. Position the 4.5 mm omnidirectional capsule on the subject’s clothing around chest level, using the supplied clip to secure the microphone and the integrated cable management to route the cable neatly. Fit the foam pop shield over the capsule when needed to reduce wind noise and plosive sounds.

Usage recommendations

For best results, place the lavalier on stable fabric near the centre of the chest and avoid rubbing against clothing. Use the foam pop shield outdoors or when recording hard consonants. Confirm device compatibility with a 3.5 mm TRS microphone input before use.
