How to use

Install a fresh 9 V battery or connect the microphone to a mixer or preamp providing 48 V phantom power via the mini XLR cable. For vocals and most instrument applications, position the end-address capsule 5–20 cm from the sound source, angled slightly toward the source. Engage the 80 Hz high-pass filter if low-frequency rumble or handling noise is present. Select the internal −10 dB or −20 dB pad when miking loud sources such as guitar cabinets or snare drums to prevent clipping at the preamp stage. Secure the mic in a stand or clip appropriate for stage use and route the mini XLR cable to the input device while avoiding tight cable bends.

Usage recommendations

For consistent live performance results, check battery status before each show or use phantom power when available.
