Microphone Stand RØDE PSA1

The RØDE PSA1 is a professional studio boom arm designed for radio, broadcast, studio and home use. It provides flexible microphone positioning with a horizontal reach of 820 mm, a vertical reach of 840 mm and full 360° rotation. The arm is finished in black and includes both desk-clamp and desk-insert attachments to suit desks up to 55 mm thick using the clamp or up to 70 mm using the insert. Velcro cable wraps are included for cable management.

How to use

Attach the PSA1 to your desk using either the clamp or insert method depending on desk thickness. Fit your microphone into a compatible shock mount (sold separately) and secure the shock mount to the arm. Adjust the arm’s position and rotation to the preferred angle and length, then tidy the microphone cable along the arm using the supplied velcro wraps.

Usage recommendations

For best results, use the PSA1 with microphones and shock mounts within the supported weight range (700 g–1.1 kg). Check that desk fittings are tightened securely and route cables along the arm to minimise strain and handling noise.
