The RØDE PodMic USB is a versatile dynamic studio microphone designed for podcasting, streaming, gaming, voice-over and other speech-focused content creation. It offers both XLR and USB Type-C outputs to connect to an audio interface or mixer, or plug directly into a computer or mobile device for immediate recording. The USB digital path includes RØDE’s low-noise Revolution Preamp™ and APHEX® DSP, and the microphone provides a zero-latency headphone output with level control. With a compact, rugged metal body and matte black finish, the PodMic USB combines broadcast-style design with portable compatibility.

Use the on-board DSP controls and VoxLab presets through the RØDE Companion software (or device-compatible app) to shape high-pass filter, gate, compression and enhancement settings. Usage recommendations

Position the microphone 15–30 cm from the speaker and use the included external pop filter for reduced plosives. For best vocal clarity, use the high-pass filter to remove low-frequency rumble and engage the noise gate when recording in untreated or noisy environments.
