How to use

Attach the SM4-R to a mic stand or boompole using the appropriate 3/8" or 5/8" thread. Fit the compatible RØDE microphone into the Lyre suspension so the capsule is centred and secure. Choose one of the four mounting points to achieve the correct balance and position for the microphone length in use. Route the mic cable through the integrated clip to minimise movement and strain. Adjust the angle of the stand mount and tighten the locking mechanism to hold the microphone at the required orientation.

Usage recommendations

For optimal vibration isolation, ensure the Lyre mounts are free of debris and the microphone is correctly centred. Use the integrated cable clip to prevent cable movement from transferring noise into the mount.
