Handheld Microphone RØDE Wireless GO
The RØDE Wireless GO is an ultra-compact wireless microphone system combining a clip-on transmitter with a small on-camera receiver. The transmitter includes an omnidirectional condenser capsule for broadcast-grade audio and can function as a clip microphone or serve as a beltpack for a lavalier. The system transmits digital audio over 2.4 GHz to the receiver and is intended for content creators, filmmakers, presenters, vloggers and live streamers who need a lightweight, portable wireless solution.
Both transmitter and receiver are extremely lightweight and compact, making the system easy to carry and mount. The Wireless GO auto-pairs quickly and uses Series III digital 2.4 GHz transmission optimized for operation in dense RF environments while still offering a long line-of-sight range. A three-stage gain control allows precise output matching to cameras or recorders, and the internal lithium-ion battery provides up to 7 hours of operation with USB-C charging. The receiver’s dual-purpose clip fits clothing, camera straps or a camera cold shoe, and the transmitter accepts an external lavalier via a 3.5 mm TRS input.
Attach the receiver to your camera strap, clothing or cold shoe using the built-in clip. Clip the transmitter to the subject’s clothing or connect a lavalier microphone to the transmitter’s 3.5 mm TRS input and position it for clear voice pickup. Power on both units and allow them to auto-pair; the system pairs automatically in a few seconds. Adjust the 3-stage gain control on the transmitter to match the input level of your camera or recording device. Monitor levels on your recorder and recharge the units via USB-C when battery is low.
For best results, position the transmitter microphone or lavalier within 20–30 cm of the speaker’s mouth, keep a clear line of sight between transmitter and receiver when possible, and test audio levels before recording to avoid clipping in noisy environments.
