Audio Extractor ROLINE HDMI 4K2K LPCM 7.1
The ROLINE HDMI 4K2K LPCM 7.1 Audio Extractor separates audio from an HDMI signal while passing the original video (up to 3840 x 2160). It provides HDMI input and output connectors and supports LPCM 7.1 multi-channel output so you can route high-resolution audio to an external sound system while the pure image signal continues to the display.
The extractor supports HDMI and HDCP 1.2, high bit-rate (HBR) audio and audio sample rates up to 192 kHz for S/PDIF. It handles video resolutions up to 4K2K and 3D, offers CEC bypass, and provides up to four 3.5 mm phone jacks for analog multi-channel outputs. The unit is compact, powered by the included 5 V DC, 2 A adapter, and includes a user manual.
Connect the HDMI source (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console, PC) to the extractor's HDMI input and connect the extractor's HDMI output to your display. Choose the desired audio output: connect an optical cable to the S/PDIF port for digital audio or plug speakers/amplifier cables into the 3.5 mm jacks for analog multi-channel output. Power the unit with the supplied 5 V DC adapter. The device extracts audio while forwarding the original video signal to the screen.
For best results use high-quality HDMI and optical cables, ensure connected devices support the intended audio formats (LPCM 7.1 or HBR), and verify your display and audio equipment compatibility with HDCP 1.2 and 4K resolution.
