Online UPS ROLINE ProSecure III 2000 RM2U
The ROLINE ProSecure III 2000 RM2U is an online double-conversion UPS designed for 19" rack mounting to protect servers, network equipment and other critical IT systems. It provides continuous pure sine-wave output (230 V nominal) with high efficiency (95%), an LCD front panel for status monitoring and a compact rack-friendly design (88 x 428 x 610 mm, 32 kg). The unit includes UPS management software and connection cables.
This UPS offers true online double-conversion topology for full protection against power failure, sags, surges, under- and over-voltage, frequency variations and line noise. The device delivers a pure sine-wave output with less than 3% THD, supports hot-swappable batteries, and includes advanced battery management, automatic diagnostics and selectable high-efficiency mode. An LCD display with multiple languages, USB and RS-232 communication and network/fax/modem surge protection simplify monitoring and integration into IT environments.
Mount the UPS in a 19" rack using appropriate rails or brackets and connect the incoming mains supply. Connect protected devices to the UPS output receptacles and configure load segmentation if required. Use the LCD panel or connected management software (USB/RS-232) to set output voltage, efficiency mode and view battery status. For battery replacement, follow the hot-swap procedure described in the user manual to avoid downtime. Ensure the EPO function is set up if remote emergency shutoff is needed.
Install the UPS in a temperature-controlled, ventilated rack space and avoid placing it near heat sources. Regularly test the battery using the automatic diagnostics and replace batteries when the battery replacement warning appears. Keep the UPS firmware and management software updated and configure graceful shutdown routines on connected servers to prevent data loss during extended outages.
