Online UPS ROLINE ProSecure II 1000
The ROLINE ProSecure II 1000 is an online double-conversion UPS designed to provide continuous, regulated power for servers, workstations and other essential IT equipment. With true on-line technology, a pure sine-wave output and a nominal output voltage of 230 V, it protects connected devices from power failure, sags and surges, under‑/over‑voltage, switch transients, line noise, frequency variation and harmonic distortion. The unit includes an LCD front panel, hot-swappable batteries and support for USB and RS-232 communication for monitoring and management.
The UPS delivers continuous AC power through double-conversion topology and offers up to 95% efficiency in normal operation. It provides pure sine-wave output with less than 3% THD, advanced battery management, selectable high-efficiency mode, automatic diagnostics and battery check, and protection features such as lightning/surge protection, short-circuit and overload protection. Hot-swappable batteries and battery remaining time display simplify maintenance, while multiple communication options (USB, RS-232, monitoring software) enable integration with Windows, macOS and Linux systems.
Install the UPS on a stable, ventilated surface and connect input power according to local electrical standards. Attach critical equipment to the UPS output receptacles and connect monitoring cables (USB or RS-232) to a management PC if required. Configure the LCD settings and selectable output voltage as needed. In normal operation the UPS will provide regulated power; on mains failure it will supply battery power automatically. Replace batteries when the battery replacement warning is displayed and follow safety instructions in the user manual for hot-swap procedures.
Place the UPS in a temperature-controlled, dust-free environment, avoid blocking ventilation, and periodically run automatic diagnostics and battery checks. Use the UPS management software to configure graceful shutdown and notifications for connected systems.
