Online UPS ROLINE ProSecure II 1000 RM2U
The ROLINE ProSecure II 1000 RM2U is an online double-conversion UPS designed for 19" rack installations to protect servers and essential computer systems. It delivers true on-line technology with pure sine-wave output and less than 3% THD, an LCD front panel for status monitoring and selectable on-line output voltage. With 95% efficiency and support for hot-swappable batteries, this compact 2U unit provides uninterrupted power for sensitive electronic equipment and offers multiple communication options including USB and RS-232.
This UPS provides complete power protection against power failure, sags, surges, under- and over-voltage, switch transients, line noise, frequency variations and harmonic distortion. It features advanced battery management (ABM), automatic charging even when the UPS is off, battery remaining time display and battery replacement warning. Additional benefits include lightning and surge protection for network/fax/modem lines, power factor correction, short-circuit and overload protection, selectable high-efficiency mode and controllable load-segment receptacles.
Install the unit in a 19" rack using appropriate mounting hardware and ensure proper ventilation around the chassis. Connect input power to the UPS mains inlet and attach protected equipment to the output receptacles. Configure the LCD and select required output settings and efficiency mode. For monitoring and graceful shutdown, connect the UPS to a management PC via USB or RS-232 and install the supplied management software compatible with Windows, Mac OS X or Linux. Replace batteries when the unit displays a battery replacement warning; batteries are hot-swappable to allow replacement without shutting down protected loads.
Place the UPS in a clean, cool and ventilated rack space, avoid exposure to direct heat or moisture, perform periodic battery self-tests and keep the management software updated to ensure reliable monitoring and orderly shutdown of connected equipment.
