Junction Box Cat.6 ROLINE 21.17.3066
The ROLINE Junction Box Cat.6 21.17.3066 is a plastic enclosure for repairing or extending unshielded Cat.6 (UTP) installation cables. It accepts 4- or 8-core AWG24 cables with an outer diameter from 4 mm and supports standard wiring schemes EIA/TIA 568A and 568B via LSA connection technology.
This junction box provides a compact and durable housing for splicing or extending Cat.6 UTP cables. Its LSA (punch-down) connection technology enables quick, reliable terminations without soldering. The product is compatible with both 4- and 8-wire AWG24 cables and fits cables with an outside diameter from 4 mm, allowing flexible use in structured cabling installations.
Open the plastic enclosure and insert the prepared Cat.6 UTP cables so that conductors match the LSA termination block. Use the appropriate LSA punch-down tool to terminate each conductor according to the chosen wiring scheme (568A or 568B). Verify all pairs are properly seated and close the junction box housing to secure the splices. Mount the box as required in the installation location.
Ensure cables are stripped to the correct length and that conductors are clean and undamaged before termination. Use a proper LSA punch-down tool and test the completed connection with a network cable tester to confirm continuity and pair integrity.
