Freestanding 19-inch network cabinet ROLINE Basic 42U 800x1000 mm is designed for mounting server and network equipment on adjustable 19" rack rails. With a usable rack height of 42U and external footprint of 800 x 1000 mm (WxD), the cabinet supports static loads up to 600 kg and has an IP20 protection rating. The enclosure features a glass front door, removable side and rear panels, adjustable feet and a robust steel construction with sheet thickness up to 1.5 mm. Strategically placed cable inlets in the base, roof and sides simplify cabling, while the roof includes a punched area for fan module installation. Two pairs of galvanised, reversible and depth-adjustable 19" profile rails are fitted and connected to depth struts to accommodate different equipment depths. The cabinet is finished with electrostatic powder coating in grey (RAL 7035).

How to use

Place the freestanding cabinet on a firm, level surface and use the adjustable feet to level the enclosure. Remove panels or the front door as needed to access the interior when mounting equipment. Adjust the internal 19" profile rails to the required depth and secure them before installing patch panels, switches or servers. Route cables through the base, side or roof inlets and secure them to rails or cable management accessories to maintain airflow and serviceability. If additional cooling is required, use the roof punched area to mount a compatible fan module. Lock the front door after installation to limit unauthorised access.

Usage recommendations

For safe operation and longevity, distribute installed equipment weight evenly across the rails and avoid exceeding the 600 kg static load. Use appropriate earthing and grounding practices when connecting equipment.
