19-inch Network Cabinet ROLINE Basic 42U 800x800 mm freestanding rack, glass door, grey, 600 kg
Freestanding 19-inch network cabinet ROLINE Basic with 42U rack capacity and an 800 x 800 mm footprint. The cabinet features a glazed front door, removable side panels, adjustable depth-mounted 19" rails and a robust steel construction with sheet thickness up to 1.5 mm. Designed for server rooms and network closets, it supports up to 600 kg of distributed load, has an IP20 protection rating and a net weight of approximately 95.4 kg. Strategically positioned cable inlets in the base and roof, plus an area for fan module installation, enable flexible cable routing and optional active cooling.
The ROLINE Basic 42U cabinet combines a durable steel frame with a powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and a professional appearance. Its glazed front door and removable side panels grant convenient access for installation and maintenance without full disassembly. Adjustable and reversible 19" profile rails allow mounting of servers, switches, patch panels and cable management accessories at different depths, while additional depth struts increase structural stability under load. Multiple cable inlets and a roof cutout for fan modules simplify cable entry and cooling options.
Place the freestanding cabinet on a level surface and adjust the feet to ensure stability. Remove the front door or side panels as needed to access internal space. Mount equipment on the adjustable 19" rails, setting rail depth to suit the depth of servers, switches or PDUs. Route cables through the base and roof inlets, securing them to cable management accessories where applicable. If required, fit fan modules into the punched roof area and install any optional grommets or covers for organised cable entry. Ensure the total mounted equipment weight does not exceed the specified distributed load capacity.
For safe and reliable operation, distribute weight evenly across the cabinet and fasten heavy equipment to lower U positions. Use appropriate earthing and cable management to maintain airflow and prevent overheating. Verify the cabinet's IP20 rating is suitable for the intended environment and add environmental controls (fans or room cooling) if deploying heat-generating equipment.
