The ROLINE 19-inch server rack Pro 42U (600x1200, black) is a freestanding steel enclosure designed for flexible network cabling and secure mounting of server and network equipment. It provides 42U of usable rack space, a maximum load capacity of 1000 kg and an IP20 protection rating. The cabinet includes adjustable depth rails, ventilated doors and a perforated roof for fan integration, and is finished with an electrostatic powder coating in RAL 9005 black.

Advantages

The ROLINE Pro rack combines a robust steel construction with up to 2.0 mm material thickness and modular design features such as removable, lockable side panels and interchangeable door hinges. Perforated front and rear doors and a ventilated roof improve airflow. Multiple cabling inlets with brushes and a foam-sealed slide-in inlet allow flexible cable entry. Internal galvanised 19" profile rails are height-marked front and rear and adjustable in depth, with additional depth braces for stability. The rack is available in standard colours and can be fully dismantled for transport or installation.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a stable, level surface and adjust the feet to ensure correct alignment. Mount equipment into the 19" profile rails using appropriate cage nuts and screws, adjusting the rail depth as required. Route cables through the side and base inlets with brush seals or the slide-on inlet with foam rubber seal to maintain tidiness and reduce dust ingress. If additional cooling is required, install fan modules in the perforated roof opening. Lock removable side panels and doors to secure installed equipment.

Usage recommendations

Install the rack in a temperature-controlled environment and distribute weight evenly across the vertical mounting rails. Allow sufficient airflow front-to-back and avoid blocking perforated doors or roof openings. For heavy installations, verify floor load capacity and, if needed, bolt the rack to the floor or use additional stabilising measures.
