ROLINE 19-inch server rack Pro 42U 600x1000 black is a freestanding server enclosure designed for professional network and server installations. With a 42U capacity and a maximum load capacity of 1000 kg, this steel cabinet provides a stable, secure environment for servers, switches and other rack-mounted equipment. The enclosure features adjustable feet, an IP20 rating and a perforated roof and doors for improved airflow. Internal 19" profile rails are galvanised, height-marked and depth-adjustable to support flexible mounting and cable management.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level, load-bearing surface and adjust the feet to ensure the cabinet is stable and plumb. Install the galvanised 19" profile rails at the required height units and adjust their depth according to the equipment depth. Mount servers and rack devices using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts into the marked U positions. Route network and power cables through the provided brush inlets and slide-on inlet with foam rubber seal to maintain tidy cable management and reduce dust ingress. If additional ventilation is needed, fit fan modules to the perforated roof cover following the fan manufacturer’s instructions.

Usage recommendations

For safe operation, distribute equipment weight evenly across multiple U positions and observe the 1000 kg maximum load. Ensure adequate airflow by leaving free space around air intakes and use the perforated doors and roof for forced ventilation if required. Secure side panels and doors with the provided locks during normal operation and perform periodic checks on mounting rails, cable routing and fasteners to maintain stability and accessibility.
