Mechanical pencil rotring 600 metallic pearl white 0.5 mm — metal barrel, knurled grip

The rotring 600 mechanical pencil in metallic pearl white with 0.5 mm lead combines a metal barrel and knurled metal grip to deliver consistent line width and precise control. Designed for technical drawing, detailed sketching and everyday writing, the fixed metal barrel improves balance and durability compared with plastic-bodied pencils. The pencil integrates a dependable lead-advancement mechanism and a rigid tip that reduces breakage during fine work.

Advantages

The full metal construction ensures long-term durability and a weighted feel that aids stability while drawing or writing. The knurled grip provides non-slip fingertip control for accurate line placement. The 0.5 mm lead size produces consistent, fine lines suitable for drafting standards and detailed illustration, while the fixed metal sleeve supports precise guidance of the tip. The design also minimizes wobble and improves balance for extended use.

Suitable for

• Technical drawing and drafting
• Architectural and engineering sketches
• Detailed illustration and inking preparation
• Student note-taking and exam work
• Everyday precision writing

Key specifications

• Lead diameter: 0.5 mm for fine, consistent lines
• Barrel material: metal for increased durability and weight
• Grip type: knurled metal grip for non-slip control
• Sleeve type: fixed metal sleeve to reduce lead breakage
• Color: metallic pearl white finish

How to use

Hold the pencil by the knurled metal grip to maximize control and stability. Advance lead using the top-actuated mechanism as needed; use short, controlled extensions to minimize breakage of the 0.5 mm core. For precise drafting, rest the fixed sleeve on the drawing surface and use light, consistent pressure. Replace lead by removing the cap and inserting standard 0.5 mm mechanical pencil leads compatible with the pencil.

Usage recommendations

Use HB or H-grade 0.5 mm leads for general-purpose drafting and writing; choose harder grades (H, 2H) for technical drawings where sharper lines and less smudging are required, and softer grades (B, 2B) for sketching and shading. Store the pencil in a protective case to prevent surface scratches and avoid dropping to preserve the fixed sleeve alignment.
