Sakura Pigma Micron fineliner set Black — 10 pcs contains ten black-ink fineliners with round tips designed for precise writing, technical drawing and detailed illustration. Each pen uses Sakura's archival-quality pigment ink that resists fading and water, providing consistent black lines for sketching, note-taking, inking and other ink-based work. The set is supplied in a compact blister pack for storage and transport.
Advantages
The set provides a range of consistently black, waterproof pigment ink pens with reliable flow and durable nib tips. Round tips deliver steady, uniform lines useful for lettering and technical details. Archival-quality ink reduces the risk of discoloration over time and is suitable for work that requires permanence. The blister pack keeps the pens organized and portable.
Suitable for
- Technical sketches and architectural details
- Illustrations, comics and inked artwork
- Calligraphy practice and lettering with fine outlines
- Note-taking, planners and bullet journals
- Document annotation and archival records
When it may not be suitable
These fineliners are intended for detailed line work and are not designed for broad coverage or filling large areas. For watercolor washes or media requiring bleed-proof markers with flexible brush tips, these rigid round-tip fineliners may not be the best choice. Surfaces that are very rough or heavily textured may wear down the nib faster and affect line consistency.
Key specifications

How to use
Select the pen with the desired tip thickness for your task and shake gently if recommended by the manufacturer before first use. Hold the fineliner at a comfortable angle and apply even pressure for consistent lines; lighter pressure preserves tip life and finer line width. Allow ink to dry briefly to avoid smudging, and cap each pen after use to prevent drying. Use on suitable, smooth paper for best results and avoid prolonged use on rough surfaces that may abrade the nib.
What to consider before purchase
- Need for archival, waterproof pigment ink for permanence
- Suitability of round-tip fineliners for the intended line widths and detail work
- Surface type — smoother papers provide better line quality and longer nib life
- Preference for a set with multiple tip sizes rather than individual pens
Usage recommendations
Store capped in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best results use with smooth, bleed-resistant paper and allow ink to dry before erasing pencil underdrawing or applying washes. Rotate among tip sizes to match detail level and prolong nib life.
