Plaster strips Salvequick Aqua Resist for cuts 75 cm, 1 piece
Salvequick Aqua Resist plaster strip for cuts, 75 cm long, single piece is a water-resistant wound dressing designed to cover and protect small cuts and abrasions. The flexible, elongated strip provides a continuous adhesive barrier that maintains a sterile environment over the wound while allowing movement. Its water-resistant surface helps the dressing remain effective during contact with moisture, making it suitable for everyday first aid and situations where extended protection is needed.
The dressing combines a long, flexible adhesive backing with a water-resistant outer layer to keep the wound protected from moisture and contaminants. The central sterile pad absorbs minor exudate while minimising stickiness to the wound. The strip’s length allows for custom fitting and coverage of larger or awkward areas without the need for multiple small plasters.
Clean and dry the wound area before application. Remove the protective backing and position the sterile pad directly over the cut. Smooth the adhesive strip onto the surrounding skin, ensuring full contact and avoiding wrinkles. Trim the strip if necessary to fit the area; if trimming, cut outside the sterile pad to preserve sterility. Replace the dressing when it becomes saturated, soiled, or when per standard wound care guidance.
Store the plaster strip in a cool, dry place and use within the product’s indicated shelf life. For best results, ensure the skin is as clean and dry as possible before applying the dressing. Seek medical advice if the wound shows signs of infection, increased pain, or does not improve.
