Description

The SATEL Power supply unit APS-612 is a wired backup power supply designed for smart home, security and industrial applications. It provides 12 V DC output with a combined 6 A capacity — 3 A dedicated for powering connected devices and 3 A for battery charging — and is compatible with loads used in alarm systems, access control and CCTV. The unit uses an LLC topology SMPS for high efficiency and low heat generation, includes active PFC at the input, a noise filter, short-circuit and overload protection, and accepts a battery connected directly for uninterrupted operation.

Advantages

APS-612 meets EN 50131-3 Grade 3 requirements and incorporates microprocessor control of battery status and operation, precise voltage regulation and automatic battery disconnection in case of excessive discharge. Built-in diagnostics use LEDs and acoustic signaling to report mains presence, battery condition and fault states such as overheating, overload or short-circuit. Four open-collector outputs provide fault notification to an alarm system. The integrated 3-pin connector enables direct connection to compatible SATEL devices such as zone/output expanders and ACCO-NT access control panels.
