Product information

Description

The Savic Zephos 1 Pet Carrier with Metal Door in Blue is a reliable travel solution designed specifically for small pets. Built with durable plastic and equipped with a secure metal door, this carrier ensures that your animal companion remains safe and contained during trips. Whether you are heading to the veterinarian or taking a short journey, the robust construction provides peace of mind while maintaining proper airflow throughout the interior.

Advantages

This pet carrier offers a combination of safety, durability, and practical design for everyday travel needs. The sturdy plastic body protects your pet from external bumps, while the metal door provides reliable closure that prevents accidental escapes during transit. Ventilation slots positioned along the sides ensure a continuous supply of fresh air, keeping your pet comfortable and calm. Additionally, the lightweight structure and ergonomic handle make carrying effortless for the owner.

Suitable for

  • Transporting small cats and dogs to the veterinarian
  • Short trips and everyday travel with small pets
  • Providing a secure temporary resting space during transit

When it may not be suitable

This carrier is designed exclusively for small pets and is not suitable for medium or large animals that require more space to stand or turn around. It is also not intended for long-term confinement or air cargo transport where specific airline kennel certifications are required.

Key specifications

  • Sturdy plastic construction
  • Secure metal door
  • Integrated carrying handle
  • Ventilation slots for airflow
  • Color: Blue

How to use

Open the metal door by releasing the secure latch mechanism. Gently place your pet inside the carrier, ensuring they have enough room to sit and lie down comfortably. Close the metal door and make sure the locking mechanism is fully engaged before lifting or moving the carrier. Always hold the handle firmly and support the bottom of the carrier during transport.

What to consider before purchase

  • Verify that your pet's size and weight match the dimensions of a small carrier
  • Assess whether the metal door mechanism meets your preference for daily handling
  • Check if the intended type of travel aligns with a standard plastic pet carrier

Usage recommendations: Introduce your pet to the carrier gradually at home by leaving the door open with a familiar blanket inside to reduce travel anxiety.
