Video switch SAVIO CL-28 HDMI, black, supports 1080p and up to 1920x1200
SAVIO CL-28 HDMI video switch in a black housing routes HDMI signals from multiple sources to a single display. The switch provides three HDMI inputs and one HDMI output, allowing connection of devices such as a set-top box, PC, DVD player or gaming console to a single TV, monitor or projector. It supports Full HD 1080p, graphics up to 1440p and computer resolutions up to 1920×1200 (WUXGA). The compact, passive design normally does not require external power; when an external power supply is connected the device also functions as a signal amplifier for longer cable runs.
The SAVIO CL-28 offers three switching modes—automatic intelligent switching, remote control switching and manual push-button switching—so you can choose the method that best fits the installation. Gold-plated HDMI connectors ensure stable signal transfer and reduced contact corrosion. Support for 12-bit Deep Color and data rates up to 2.5 Gbps preserves image quality for Full HD video and high-resolution computer graphics. The unit is easy to install and useful when a display has too few HDMI inputs.
Connect up to three HDMI source devices to the switch inputs and connect the switch output to the display’s HDMI input using standard HDMI cables. Choose the switching mode: leave intelligent mode enabled for automatic selection of the active source (other sources must be powered off), use the included remote control to switch sources from a distance, or press the button on the device for manual switching. If you experience signal loss on long cable runs, connect an optional external power supply to enable the amplifier function.
Use high-quality HDMI cables and keep cable runs under 10 m for reliable passive operation. If cables exceed 10 m or there are multiple connectors and splitters in the chain, use the external power option to enable the unit’s amplification mode. When using intelligent automatic switching, ensure non-selected source devices are fully powered off to allow correct auto-selection.
