The design integrates Heel Control for torsion resistance, a protective rubber rand, an upper gaiter to block debris, and extended lacing that reaches the toe for a precise fit. The ABS Precision Cramp sole with the patented Bascula Adaptive System and a Vibram® Mont outsole deliver reliable grip and compatibility with semi-automatic crampons. Listed weight: 570 g.

Advantages

The Perwanger Nepal leather upper provides durable water repellency while maintaining breathability. SockFit XT construction creates a sock-like wrap that improves fit and agility, and Heel Control increases lateral stability on uneven terrain. GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining ensures dry feet during wet conditions without compromising ventilation. The combination of the Bascula Adaptive System and Vibram® Mont compound offers stable traction, durability, and compatibility with semi-automatic crampons, making these boots adaptable for a variety of mountain routes.

Suitable for

• Trekking and long day hikes in variable weather
• Technical mountain walks requiring ankle support and grip
• Multi-day trips where waterproofing and comfort are priorities
• Routes where semi-automatic crampon compatibility is needed

For wet conditions, rely on the GORE-TEX membrane to keep feet dry while allowing moisture to escape. When traversing steep or icy sections, pair the boots with compatible semi-automatic crampons attached to the Vibram® Mont outsole for improved security. Inspect and maintain leather treatments and sole condition regularly to preserve performance.

Usage recommendations

Break in the boots on short hikes with progressively heavier loads before undertaking extended treks. Reapply suitable leather care products to the Perwanger leather as recommended by the manufacturer and resoling services when outsole wear becomes significant to extend the lifetime of the boots.
