Rake attachment for Scheppach mini excavator EXC815 — 100 cm, 10 teeth (model SCH7915001705)

The Scheppach rake attachment for the EXC815 mini excavator is a 100 cm wide implement with 10 teeth, designed to attach to compatible EXC815 machines. It is intended for raking, leveling and removing loose material on construction sites, landscaping projects and small agricultural plots. The attachment offers a rigid steel frame and evenly spaced tines to collect stones, roots and debris while allowing fine surface finishing when drawn across prepared ground.

Advantages

This rake attachment provides a combination of working width and tooth count that balances material collection and maneuverability. The 10-tooth configuration helps separate debris from soil and reduces clogging during continuous use. Constructed from durable steel, the tool is suitable for repeated field use and integrates directly with the EXC815 mounting system to ensure safe and secure connection.

Suitable for

• Site preparation: removing loose stones and roots before paving or seeding
• Landscaping: leveling topsoil and collecting surface debris
• Small-scale agricultural tasks: preparing seedbeds and clearing small plots
• Finishing work: creating smooth surfaces after excavation or grading

When it may not be suitable

This attachment is not designed for heavy excavation, breaking hard-packed ground or moving large boulders. It performs best on loose to moderately compacted material; attempts to use it as a substitute for a bucket or hydraulic breaker may result in poor performance and accelerated wear. Compatibility is limited to machines that accept the EXC815 mounting geometry.

Key specifications

• Working width: 100 cm
• Number of teeth: 10
• Material: steel frame and tines
• Intended machine class: mini excavator category compatible with EXC815 mounting

How to use

Mount the rake to the mini excavator following the machine manufacturer’s procedures for secure attachment. Operate the excavator at appropriate engine speed and travel rate to allow the teeth to engage surface material without excessive force. For raking, lower the attachment to the working surface and pull it toward the machine in smooth passes; for levelling, use controlled side-to-side movements. Inspect the tines regularly and remove accumulated debris to maintain consistent performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm compatibility with your mini excavator mounting system and hydraulic or mechanical coupling before ordering
• Assess whether a 100 cm working width and 10 teeth meet the scope of your tasks
• Consider expected ground conditions — very hard or rocky ground may require a different tool

Usage recommendations

Use the rake for light-to-moderate raking and finishing tasks, avoid subjecting the tines to impact loads from large rocks, and perform routine inspections and maintenance to extend service life.
