Pot planter SCHEURICH Coneo 242 freestanding plastic, 26 L, Ø40 cm, black
SCHEURICH Coneo 242 is a freestanding plastic pot planter with a 26 L volume and a 40 cm outer diameter in a black/dark-granite appearance. Designed for outdoor and indoor use, it offers a lightweight, weather-resistant container for shrubs, perennials and decorative plants. The dark-granite finish gives a neutral, stone-like look that suits terraces, balconies, patios and interior settings while remaining easy to move and handle.
The pot is made from weather-resistant plastic that tolerates rain and sunlight without rapid deterioration, and its 26 L capacity with a 40 cm diameter provides sufficient soil volume for healthy root development of medium-sized plants. The dark-granite appearance replicates a natural stone look without the weight of ceramic or concrete alternatives, combining aesthetic neutrality with practical portability.
This lightweight plastic pot may not provide the ballast needed to stabilise tall or top-heavy plants in very windy outdoor locations. It is not a substitute for heavy, highly frost-resistant stone or glazed ceramic where repeated freeze–thaw cycles require materials with maximum frost protection.
Place the pot on a stable, level surface. If improved drainage is needed, add a layer of coarse material (gravel or similar) before filling with an appropriate potting mix for the chosen plants. Ensure the pot has drainage when used outdoors or create drainage holes; use a saucer or liner to protect indoor floors. Position plants centrally, fill to the recommended depth, firm the soil lightly and water thoroughly after planting.
Use a well-draining potting mix and consider adding ballast (heavy stones or a weighted base) for top-heavy plants in exposed sites. Check moisture regularly and move the pot to a sheltered location during extreme freeze–thaw conditions to extend its service life.
