The APC Smart-UPS SMT2200RMI2UC is a 2U rackmount uninterruptible power supply providing 2200 VA / 1980 W of backup power. It delivers immediate emergency power when mains fail, protects connected equipment from voltage spikes and supports remote monitoring via the SmartConnect Ethernet port or an optional Network Management Card. The unit includes an LCD, physical controls, 8 C13 and 1 C19 outlets, a USB Type-A port and an RJ-45 serial interface. The internal, user-replaceable battery cartridge (RBC43) and PowerChute/PowerChute Network software options enable orderly shutdown of connected servers and extend the usable life of the UPS and protected hardware.

Advantages

The SMT2200RMI2UC provides automatic, fast switchover to battery power to prevent data loss and hardware damage. Built-in protection against peak voltages and lightning effects reduces risk to sensitive equipment. SmartConnect offers out-of-box remote monitoring with a 6-month trial and integration with EcoStruxure IT Expert for continuous management. Switched Outlet Groups allow phased startup and remote reboot of connected loads to reduce peak inrush and simplify phased power sequencing. The internal battery cartridge is user-replaceable without powering down connected equipment, and the UPS supports optional warranty extension and network-based shutdown coordination.
