The APC Smart-UPS X SMX3000RMHV2U is a 3000 VA (2700 W) line-interactive UPS in a 2U rack/tower convertible format. It provides pure sine wave emergency power to critical IT equipment and includes 8x IEC 320 C13 and 1x IEC 320 C19 outlets, with IEC 320 C20 input and multiple regional power cords. The unit offers user-replaceable sealed lead‑acid battery technology, a SmartSlot for an optional Network Management Card and support for external battery packs (SMX120RMBP2U) to extend runtime.

Advantages

The UPS delivers uninterrupted, pure sine wave power and can perform automatic, controlled shutdowns with APC PowerChute or PowerChute Network Shutdown when battery charge is low. It protects connected devices from voltage spikes and lightning-related surges, supports remote management via a Network Management Card and EcoStruxure IT, and allows phased restart and remote reboot through switched outlet groups. The internal battery cartridge is user-replaceable without powering down connected equipment. Rack/tower convertible design and included mounting feet and brackets increase installation flexibility. Factory warranty is 3 years (battery 2 years) with optional warranty extension available.
