The APC Smart-UPS On-Line 1000VA 1000W tower UPS (model SRT1000XLI) delivers double-conversion, pure sine wave power to maintain business continuity for IT equipment and network infrastructure. Designed for IT professionals and network administrators, this unit features an IEC 320 C14 input and six IEC 320 C13 outlets, a sealed lead-acid battery and compatibility with network management solutions for remote monitoring and controlled shutdowns.

Advantages

Provides continuous double-conversion online power with a pure sine wave output to protect sensitive electronics from power disturbances. Includes a SmartSlot for an optional Network Management Card to enable graceful shutdown of physical servers, virtual machines and hyperconverged clusters. Can integrate with EcoStruxure IT or third-party centralized management platforms. Backed by a 3-year unit warranty and a 2-year warranty on the internal lead-acid battery.

How to use

Install the UPS in a well-ventilated, dry environment and connect the input to a properly rated AC supply using the IEC C14 inlet. Plug critical equipment into the six IEC C13 outlets. If remote management is required, install the optional Network Management Card into the SmartSlot and configure PowerChute Network Shutdown or connect the UPS to EcoStruxure IT/third‑party monitoring platforms. Follow the included user manual for battery charging and commissioning procedures before placing the UPS into active service.

Usage recommendations

For best results, size the UPS to allow headroom above expected load, perform regular battery self-tests, and replace the internal battery according to manufacturer intervals. Use compatible rail kits SRTRK4 (4-post) or SRTRK3 (2-post) if installing in a rack (sold separately).
