The APC Smart-UPS On-Line SRT10KRMXLI is a 10 kVA double-conversion rack/tower UPS designed for IT professionals and network administrators who require continuous clean power for critical equipment. It delivers pure sine wave output, accepts wide input voltage ranges, and includes an embedded Network Management Card for remote monitoring and control. The unit ships with PowerChute Network Shutdown software and supports external battery packs to extend runtime. It includes six IEC 320 C13 and four IEC 60320 C19 outlets plus hardwired input/output options and complies with major safety and EMC standards.

How to use

Install the SRT10KRMXLI in a standard 19" rack using the included 4-post rail kit or set it up in tower configuration according to the installation manual. Connect critical equipment to the IEC C13 and C19 outlets or use the hardwired connections for mains input/output. Configure the integrated Network Management Card through the web interface or an SNMP management system and install PowerChute Network Shutdown on servers to enable controlled shutdown sequences. If additional runtime is required, connect compatible external battery packs (SRT192RMBP2) and verify runtime calculations per load.

Usage recommendations

For virtual machine and hyperconverged infrastructure shutdown support, obtain the appropriate PowerChute Network Shutdown license (1, 3 or 5 year options). Maintain periodic battery checks and replace internal battery cartridges (APCRBC140) as recommended; cartridges are hot-swappable to avoid downtime. Use Switched Outlet Groups to stagger equipment power-up or remotely reboot devices and to shed non-critical loads to extend runtime for critical systems.
