UPS APC Smart-UPS On-Line SRT2200RMXLI-NC
The APC Smart-UPS On-Line SRT2200RMXLI-NC is a 2U rackmount UPS providing 2200 VA of double-conversion on-line protection for critical IT equipment. Its double-conversion topology supplies clean, uninterrupted pure sine wave power to connected devices and enables seamless transfer to battery power during mains failures. The UPS includes a preinstalled Network Management Card for remote monitoring and management and supports extended runtimes via optional external battery packs.
Double-conversion on-line technology ensures continuous, regulated power and isolates connected hardware from mains disturbances, including when running on generator power. The unit supports external battery packs to extend runtime for prolonged outages and features user-replaceable internal battery cartridges to extend UPS service life without shutting down connected equipment. A tiltable graphic LCD and physical buttons allow local configuration and status checking, while Switched Outlet Groups enable phased startup, remote reboot and selective load shedding. The preinstalled network card and compatibility with PowerChute Network Shutdown and EcoStruxure IT provide automated, network-based shutdown and monitoring for physical and virtual infrastructures.
Install the SRT2200RMXLI-NC in a standard 19-inch rack using the included 4-post rail kit or rackmount brackets. Connect critical equipment to the appropriate IEC outlets and plug the UPS input into a suitable mains supply (Schuko, BS1363A or C20 depending on region). Use the tiltable LCD and front buttons to configure basic settings and monitor status. For network-based monitoring and controlled shutdowns, connect the UPS to your LAN and configure the preinstalled Network Management Card; install PowerChute Network Shutdown on protected servers to enable automated, orderly shutdown of physical and virtual machines. If longer runtime is required, attach compatible external battery packs (SRT72RMBP) according to the manufacturer instructions.
For virtualized and hyperconverged environments, obtain the appropriate PowerChute Network Shutdown license (1, 3 or 5 year options) to ensure safe automated VM shutdown and startup sequences. Regularly replace the internal battery cartridge before capacity decline affects runtime, and consider the optional network card support contract to keep firmware and security updates current.
