Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS Schneider Electric APC SRT6KRMXLIM
The APC SRT6KRMXLIM is a 6 kVA double-conversion uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed for rackmount deployment with a 4U form factor. It delivers 6000 W / 6 kVA output power through 13 AC outlets (including C13 and C19 types) and uses sealed lead‑acid batteries with an expected maximum life of up to 5 years and a fast recharge time of approximately 1 hour. The unit supports rack-to-tower conversion and offers network and local management interfaces for integration into IT environments.
The UPS provides continuous double-conversion power conditioning to protect connected equipment from power disturbances. Intelligent battery management and fast recharge enhance battery life and availability. The front-panel LCD graphics display and LED indicators show operating modes, system parameters and alarms for straightforward status monitoring. SmartSlot and serial connectivity allow adding management cards or connecting to management systems, while 10/100 BaseT Ethernet connectivity enables network-based monitoring. Rack/tower convertible design helps preserve investment when changing installation formats.
Install the UPS in a 19-inch rack using the included rails or configure it as a tower using the convertible feet if required. Connect input power to the UPS according to the site electrical supply and plug critical loads into the C13/C19 AC outlets. Configure network monitoring through the 10/100 BaseT port or attach a management card to the SmartSlot for SNMP/remote management. Use the front-panel LCD and LEDs to review operating status, system parameters and active alarms. Perform regular battery tests and follow the indicated battery failure notifications for preventive maintenance.
Place the UPS in a well-ventilated, temperature-controlled environment, verify that the combined load does not exceed 6000 W, schedule periodic battery tests, and ensure network management credentials and SNMP configuration are set if remote monitoring is used.
