UPS APC Smart-UPS On-Line 6kVA/6kW Tower
The APC Smart-UPS On-Line 6kVA/6kW Tower (SRT6KXLI) is a double-conversion on-line UPS intended for IT professionals and network administrators to maintain business uptime and continuity. It delivers pure sine wave output and extended runtime to support critical electronics during power disturbances. The unit includes a hard-wired 3-wire (1P+N+E) input, six IEC 320 C13 and four IEC 320 C19 outlets, two IEC jumper cables, an LCD display for monitoring, and an embedded Network Management Card for network-based monitoring and management. PowerChute Network Shutdown enables graceful shutdown of physical servers, virtual machines and HCI clusters. The UPS is compatible with SRTRK2 and SRTRK3 rail kits (sold separately) and supports connection to EcoStruxure IT or third-party centralized management platforms. Warranty terms: 3 years for the UPS and 2 years for the built-in lead-acid battery.
Provides continuous double-conversion power with a wide input voltage window and tight output voltage regulation to protect sensitive IT equipment. Embedded network management allows remote monitoring and control, while PowerChute Network Shutdown automates orderly shutdowns. Internal bypass and input power factor correction improve reliability and electrical compatibility. The SmartSlot supports optional accessory cards such as Dry Contact I/O for additional integration.
Install the UPS in a suitable tower location or mount with compatible rail kits if rack installation is required (SRTRK2 / SRTRK3 sold separately). Connect the site mains to the hard-wired 3-wire input following local electrical codes and the product installation guide. Plug critical equipment into the IEC C13 and C19 outlets, using the provided IEC jumper cables if needed. Configure the embedded Network Management Card and install PowerChute Network Shutdown on servers or virtualization hosts to enable automated graceful shutdown. Monitor status via the front LCD and through EcoStruxure IT or a third-party monitoring platform.
Place the UPS in a ventilated, temperature-controlled environment, perform regular battery health checks, and ensure firmware and PowerChute configurations are up to date. Use qualified personnel for hard-wiring and rack installation to comply with local electrical and safety regulations.
