Photoelectric sensor Schneider Electric XUX1ARCNT16
The Schneider Electric XUX1ARCNT16 is a blue photoelectric reflex sensor designed for presence detection and object sensing in industrial environments. Built to IP67 protection, it resists dust and temporary immersion, and accepts a wide AC input voltage range of 20–264 V for compatibility with various supply systems. Its compact form factor with approximate dimensions of 31 mm width, 77 mm depth and 92 mm height allows integration into constrained spaces while delivering reliable reflex sensing performance.
This photoelectric reflex sensor provides robust environmental protection and wide-voltage operation, reducing the need for additional enclosures or voltage converters. The reflex configuration supports reliable detection of reflective targets at a specified sensing distance, and the terminal connection style simplifies wiring and maintenance. Certifications including CE, CSA, UL, RoHS and REACh indicate compliance with international safety and material standards.
Mount the sensor facing the reflector or reflective target so that the emitter and receiver are aligned for the specified sensing distance. Provide a stable AC supply within the specified 20–264 V range and connect wires to the terminal points according to the system wiring diagram. Secure the sensor mechanically using appropriate fasteners or brackets so that it remains fixed and vibration-free during operation. Adjust the position and the reflector alignment to obtain stable switching and verify correct operation with target materials expected in normal use.
For consistent detection, keep the sensor and reflector surfaces clean and free of buildup. Verify sensing performance after installation and following any changes in ambient lighting or the target surface. When used in harsh environments, periodically inspect mounting and connections; use compatible mounting hardware and follow local wiring codes.
