Stretch covering film Schuller Tenno 75 µm, 2 x 50 m roll

Schuller Tenno stretch covering film, 75 µm thickness, supplied as two 50 m rolls. This stretch film is designed to wrap, protect and stabilize goods during storage and transport. With a 75 micrometer gauge it balances tear resistance and flexibility to cover pallet loads, bundle items and safeguard surfaces from dust and light mechanical damage. The product is suitable for industrial, warehouse and logistics applications where reliable cling and load containment are required.

Advantages

The film offers consistent stretchability and high tack for secure palletizing without the need for additional adhesives. Its 75 µm thickness delivers improved puncture and tear resistance compared with thinner films while remaining manageable by hand or machine wrapping systems. Supplied as two compact 50 m rolls, it reduces downtime for roll changes and fits standard dispensers for manual and semi-automatic use.

Suitable for

• Wrapping and stabilizing pallet loads in warehouses and distribution centers
• Bundling multiple items for transport or storage
• Surface protection of furniture, appliances and packaged goods during handling
• Short-term weather and dust protection for goods in transit

When it may not be suitable

This 75 µm stretch film is not intended as a long-term UV protective cover for outdoor storage; prolonged exposure to sunlight can degrade polymer performance. It may also be excessive for very light or single-item packaging where a thinner film would be more economical.

Key specifications

• Material type: stretch polyethylene film
• Thickness: 75 µm (micrometers)
• Roll length: 50 m per roll (two rolls included)
• Roll format: hand-roll compatible dimensions for manual or machine dispensers
• Functional properties: cling/tack, tear and puncture resistance, elasticity for load containment

How to use

Start by securing the film to the pallet or item edge and wrap around the load with even tension to create overlapping layers that lock the load together. For manual application, keep constant pressure and maintain film tension to avoid sagging; for machine wrapping, set tension and pre-stretch parameters according to load type. Tear the film by hand or cut with a safety cutter once the wrap is complete and press the tail against the wrapped surface to secure the cling.

What to consider before purchase

• Required film thickness relative to load weight and sharp edges
• Compatibility with manual dispensers or automatic stretch wrappers
• Expected storage conditions (indoor vs. prolonged outdoor exposure)
• Number of pallets or items to wrap and roll length needed to avoid frequent replacements

Usage recommendations

For optimal load stability, apply multiple overlapping layers and, for heavy or irregular loads, combine with corner protectors or strapping. Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain film performance. When using machine wrappers, adjust pre-stretch and tension settings to maximize film coverage and reduce consumption.
