Satellite Antenna Schwaiger SPI440
The SCHWAIGER SPI440 satellite antenna is a compact 42 cm dish designed for reliable digital satellite reception in the 10.7–12.75 GHz range. Constructed from aluminium, plastic and steel, it delivers a gain of 32.6 dBi and is suitable for single-user installations or multi-feed systems with one active participant. The single LNB supplied includes a header cap resistant to deformation at temperatures above 220°C for up to 10 minutes and gold-plated F-connectors protected by a pull-out weatherproof cover.
Compact 42 cm diameter for space-saving installation, robust construction using aluminium, plastic and steel, high gain of 32.6 dBi for stable signal reception, single LNB suitable for multi-feed setups, corrosion-resistant gold-plated F-connectors with a weatherproof pull-out cover, and a header cap designed to withstand extreme surface temperatures to reduce the risk of heat-related damage.
Mount the SPI440 antenna on a stable mast or bracket with a clear view of the satellite orbit. Align the dish using azimuth and elevation adjustments until the desired satellite signal is achieved. Connect the single LNB to the receiver using a coaxial cable terminated with the F-connector; the gold-plated connector is protected by a pull-out cover—extend it before connecting. Secure all fittings and cable runs to prevent movement and water ingress.
Install the antenna where it has unobstructed line of sight to the satellite and allow ventilation around the LNB feed horn to reduce heat buildup. Regularly inspect the weatherproof cover and F-connector for damage and reseal or replace components if corrosion or deformation is observed.
