SCP 940-15B Ultra Slim HDMI Cable 4.5 m, HDMI Type A Male to Male, 18 Gbit/s, Gold-Plated Contacts, Black

The SCP 940-15B Ultra Slim HDMI cable is a high-performance connectivity solution designed for modern home entertainment and professional AV systems. With a length of 4.5 meters, this cable provides the necessary reach for various setups while maintaining a low-profile design that is perfect for tight spaces and ultra-thin displays. Engineered to support high-speed data transmission, it ensures that your high-definition content is delivered with clarity and reliability.

Advantages

This cable features an ultra-slim construction that offers superior flexibility compared to standard HDMI cables, making it significantly easier to route through cable management systems or behind wall-mounted televisions. The inclusion of gold-plated contacts enhances signal conductivity and provides long-term resistance against corrosion. Furthermore, the proprietary Snug-Tite grip technology ensures that the connectors remain firmly seated in their ports, preventing accidental disconnections and signal interruptions that can occur with standard cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting gaming consoles to 4K displays
• Linking media players to home theater receivers
• Professional AV installations in tight spaces
• Ultra-thin television setups

This cable may not be suitable for environments requiring extremely long cable runs beyond its 4.5-meter specification, as signal degradation can occur over excessive distances without active amplification. Additionally, it is intended for standard HDMI Type A ports and will not fit devices requiring specialized or miniaturized connector types.

Key specifications

• Length: 4.5 meters
• Connectors: HDMI Type A Male to Male
• Data transfer rate: Up to 18 Gbit/s
• Contact plating: Gold
• Supported features: 3D video, Audio Return Channel (ARC), 4K resolution
• Color: Black

To use this cable, simply insert one HDMI Type A connector into the output port of your source device, such as a Blu-ray player or gaming console, and the other end into the input port of your display or AV receiver. Ensure that both devices are powered off during the initial connection to prevent potential electrical surges. Once connected, the cable will automatically facilitate the high-speed data transfer required for your selected resolution and audio format.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your devices utilize standard HDMI Type A ports
• Ensure the 4.5-meter length is sufficient for your specific installation layout
• Check that your equipment supports the 18 Gbit/s bandwidth for optimal 4K performance

For the best performance, avoid bending the cable at sharp angles and ensure that the connectors are fully inserted into the ports to engage the Snug-Tite grip mechanism effectively.
