Fan Scythe Kama Flex 1500rpm
Scythe Kama Flex 1500rpm is a black 120 mm PC cooling fan tuned by Scythe for balanced performance and affordability. It uses Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB), also called C.O.S.C (Closed Oil Shaft Carrier), to provide long operational life and stable, low-noise rotation. The fan is designed for efficient airflow in desktop PC cooling setups while keeping acoustic output low, with a specified noise level of 24.7 dB at high speed.
Equipped with FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) to reduce friction between the shaft and bearing, the Kama Flex offers extended service life and smoother rotation. The design includes an additional suction magnet that improves magnetic balance of the rotor to minimize audible noise. A patent-pending structure contributes to an outstanding rated lifetime of up to 120,000 hours. Both fan RPM and PCB have been tuned by Scythe engineers to meet the needs of PC DIY users.
Install the fan in a standard 120 mm mounting location in your PC case or compatible cooler, aligning screw holes and securing with the provided screws. Connect the fan cable to the appropriate motherboard fan header or fan controller, ensuring correct voltage and control method (3-pin or PWM as supported by your system). Orient the fan so airflow direction matches your intended cooling configuration (intake or exhaust). Verify operation and adjust fan speed in BIOS or software if necessary.
For best results, use the Kama Flex 1500rpm in combination with proper case airflow: intake fans at the front and bottom, exhaust at the rear and top. Periodically clean dust from the blades and frame to maintain performance and longevity; avoid applying lubricants or disassembling the FDB mechanism.
