Description

The ROLINE Pro wall-mounted enclosure 20 U (600x450 mm) is a 19-inch rack designed for flexible network cabling and indoor equipment housing. It features a robust steel construction with up to 1.5 mm thick sheet steel, a key lock on the front door and adjustable 19" (483 mm) galvanised profile rails that can be set in depth. The cabinet is powder-coated in grey (RAL 7035) and rated IP20 for indoor installations.

Advantages

The enclosure provides a secure, compact mounting solution for servers, network switches and patch panels thanks to its lockable front door and solid steel frame. Cable management is facilitated by a slide-on roof inlet with foam seal, punched cable inlets on the rear panel and base plate with plastic covers, and the option to install a fan module in the roof. Side panels and the front door are modular and removable, improving access for installation and maintenance. Wall mounting is simplified by a two-step process and the unit can be converted to a free-standing cabinet using optional levelling feet or castors.

How to use

Mount the enclosure by first screwing the rear panel to a suitable load-bearing wall, then attach the housing to the rear panel. Install the galvanised profile rails at the required depth for your devices and secure equipment to the 19" rails. Route cables through the roof inlet or punched inlets and close the plastic covers after cabling. If additional ventilation is required, install a fan module in the punched roof area. For conversion to a freestanding cabinet, fit optional levelling feet or castors.

Usage recommendations

Install the cabinet in a dry indoor environment to maintain the IP20 rating. Use appropriate anchors for wall mounting according to wall material and total load. Allow sufficient ventilation space and avoid placing heat-generating equipment without proper airflow or a fan module.
