The ROLINE Basic 22U freestanding network cabinet with glass door is designed for simple and cost-efficient network expansion. It provides a robust steel construction with removable side and rear panels, a lockable removable front glass door and adjustable rack rails. Cable inlets are positioned in the base chassis and, for wider enclosures, additionally on the sides and in the roof; the roof also includes a cut-out for a fan module. The cabinet is powder-coated in grey (RAL 7035) and is suitable for indoor use with an IP20 rating.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a stable, level surface and adjust the feet to ensure proper leveling. Remove the front door and side panels as needed to install 19" equipment on the galvanised profile rails, adjusting rail depth to accommodate device depths. Route cables through the base inlet or the side/roof inlets where available, secure them to maintain clear airflow, and mount a fan module in the roof cut-out if additional ventilation is required. Reattach panels and lock the front door after installation.

Usage recommendations

Install the cabinet indoors in a dry, dust-reduced environment and allow sufficient clearance for airflow at the front and rear. For heavy equipment or dense installations, use the depth-adjustable rails and distribute load evenly to stay within the specified maximum load capacity.
