The ROLINE Basic 26U 600x1000 perforated freestanding rack is a 19-inch server cabinet designed for straightforward, cost-efficient network expansion. It offers 26U of mounting space, a robust steel construction with up to 1.5 mm sheet thickness and an IP20 protection rating. The cabinet includes adjustable rack rails, adjustable feet and a perforated front door; removable side and rear panels and a lockable, removable front door allow easy access. Cable inlets are placed in the base chassis and, for wider enclosures, additional inlets are provided on the sides and in the roof. The roof also includes a punched area for an optional fan module. Colouring is by electrostatic powder coating in grey (RAL 7035).

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level surface and adjust the feet to achieve a stable, vertical position. Install equipment into the 19" rails, adjusting rail depth as required and securing devices with appropriate rack screws. Route cables through the base cable inlet or the side and roof inlets where provided, using the removable panels for easier access during installation. If ventilation is required, install a compatible fan module in the roof punched area. Reattach panels and lock the front door after finishing installation.

Usage recommendations

For safe and reliable operation, distribute mounted equipment to balance the load vertically, secure heavy devices near the bottom of the cabinet, and ensure rear and roof cable entry points are properly sealed or managed to maintain tidy cabling and airflow. Use appropriate grounding and follow local electrical and safety regulations when installing active equipment.
