The ROLINE 19-inch Network Cabinet Basic 42U (600x800, grey) is a freestanding steel rack designed for indoor network installations. It provides 42U of mounting space, adjustable 19" profile rails and adjustable feet for stable placement. Cable inlets are positioned in the base chassis (rear centre) and, for wider enclosures, additional side and roof inlets are provided. The roof also includes a punched area for an optional fan module. The cabinet has removable side and rear panels and a lockable, removable front door; the door hinge can be changed and the whole unit can be disassembled if required.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level indoor floor and adjust the feet to ensure it stands stable. Install equipment onto the 19" profile rails, adjusting their depth and orientation as needed. Route cables through the base, side or roof inlets depending on your layout, securing them and closing the protective cover plates. If required, fit a fan module into the roof punched area and change the door hinge to suit the room layout. Panels and the front door can be removed for easier installation and maintenance.

Usage recommendations

Use the cabinet in dry, indoor environments consistent with its IP20 rating. Distribute equipment weight evenly and do not exceed the specified maximum load of 600 kg.
