The ROLINE Pro 9 U wall-mounted 19" enclosure is designed for outdoor use with an IP55 protection rating, providing resistance to dust and splash water. It offers a 9U rack capacity and external dimensions of 600 x 600 mm, with a robust steel construction up to 2.0 mm thick and an electrostatic powder-coated finish in grey (RAL 7035). The enclosure includes a 3-point locking system with a lockable swivelling handle, insulated PG cable glands and integrated ventilation filter housings. Inside are one pair of galvanised adjustable 19" profile rails (two pairs from 600 mm depth), and the roof chassis has a filtered area for a fan module. Wall mounting is performed with the supplied brackets; optionally the cabinet can be used free-standing with a base or attached to poles with a mounting set.

How to use

Mount the enclosure to a suitable vertical surface using the supplied wall brackets and appropriate fasteners for the substrate. Install equipment on the galvanised 19" rails, adjusting rail depth as needed and securing devices with compatible rack screws. Route cables through the insulated PG cable glands and ensure seals are tightened to maintain IP55 protection. If additional ventilation is required, fit a fan module in the roof chassis filtered area and maintain the ventilation filters according to the manufacturer's schedule. For free-standing or pole-mounted installations, use the optional base or pole-mounting set and follow the provided mounting instructions.

Usage recommendations

Place the enclosure where water cannot pool around the base, keep ventilation filters clean for uninterrupted airflow, and verify cable gland seals after installation. For equipment with higher heat dissipation, use the roof fan option and monitor internal temperatures to ensure reliable operation.
