Freestanding rack ROLINE 19-inch network cabinet Basic 32U 800x800 Glass door black is a floor-mounted 19" enclosure designed for economical and flexible network expansion. The cabinet provides 32U of mounting space, a maximum load capacity of 600 kg and an IP20 protection rating. The body is made of robust sheet steel (up to 1.5 mm) and is finished with electrostatic powder coating in black (RAL 9005). The enclosure includes a glazed, lockable and removable front door, removable side and rear panels, adjustable feet and depth-adjustable, reversible 19" profile rails for mounting equipment.
The ROLINE Basic cabinet combines a sturdy steel construction with a compact, demountable design that allows full disassembly when required. Strategically positioned cable inlets in the base, roof and—on wider models—the left and right sides simplify cabling during installation. The roof chassis includes a punched area for an optional fan module. Depth-adjustable, galvanised 19" rails with additional depth struts provide flexible equipment mounting, while the removable panels and reversible door hinge improve accessibility and maintenance.
Place the freestanding rack on a level surface and adjust the feet for stability. Remove the front door or side panels if required to install equipment. Mount devices on the 19" profile rails, adjusting their depth as needed and securing them to the rails. Route cables through the base, side or roof inlets and secure covers after cabling. If additional ventilation is required, install a compatible fan module into the punched area of the roof chassis. After installation, close and lock the front door and reattach side/rear panels.
For safe operation, distribute equipment weight evenly across the 32U space and avoid exceeding the 600 kg load capacity. Use appropriate earthing and follow local electrical and cabling standards; if cooling is needed, fit a fan module in the roof punched area and ensure sufficient airflow around the cabinet.
