The ROLINE Basic Plus wall-mounted enclosure is a 4U network rack designed for flexible network cabling and compact installations. It provides an intermediate solution between the PRO and Basic series with adjustable internal rails, punched cable inlets in the base plate and roof, and a removable side panel for improved accessibility. The cabinet is made of robust sheet steel with a powder-coated finish and meets IP20 protection for equipment housed inside.

How to use

First fix the rear panel to a suitable load-bearing wall using appropriate fasteners for the wall material. Hang the rack housing on the rear panel and secure it according to the mounting instructions. Install and adjust the galvanised profile rails to the required depth for the equipment to be mounted, then fasten equipment such as patch panels, switches or small servers in the 4U space. Route cables through the punched inlets in the base plate and roof; if ventilation is required, install an optional fan module in the roof’s punched-out area. For improved access, release and remove the side panels using the quick-release fasteners. If a freestanding configuration is needed, fit optional levelling feet or castors.

Usage recommendations

Use appropriate wall anchors and screws rated for the combined weight of the rack and installed equipment. Ensure ventilation is adequate for active equipment and install a fan module if necessary. Keep within the 80 kg maximum load and distribute weight evenly across the rails. Consider installing optional locks on side panels where physical access control is required.
