SecurityNET OUT-0000 Empty Fiber Optic Subscriber Wall Outlet

The SecurityNET OUT-0000 is a professional-grade empty fiber optic subscriber wall outlet designed to serve as a reliable termination point in modern fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks. This compact wall-mounted unit provides a secure, organized, and protected environment for fiber optic cable management, ensuring that delicate connections remain stable and free from external damage in residential or office settings. Its modular and empty design allows network installers to customize the internal configuration to meet specific project requirements, making it a versatile solution for various fiber distribution needs.

Advantages

This subscriber wall outlet offers a robust physical barrier that protects sensitive fiber optic splices and connectors from dust, moisture, and accidental mechanical impact. The compact and low-profile design ensures that the installation remains aesthetically pleasing and unobtrusive when mounted on interior walls. By providing a dedicated space for cable slack management and termination, it significantly improves the organization of network infrastructure, reducing the risk of signal loss caused by improper cable bending or tension. The durable construction ensures long-term reliability for high-speed data transmission environments.

Suitable for

• Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network installations
• Residential fiber optic subscriber termination
• Office network infrastructure upgrades
• Small-scale fiber distribution points

When it may not be suitable

This product is an empty housing and does not include adapters, pigtails, or splice trays, which must be sourced separately. It is not intended for outdoor use or environments exposed to direct weather conditions, as it lacks the necessary ingress protection ratings for exterior deployment.

Key specifications

• Type: Empty fiber optic subscriber wall outlet
• Mounting: Wall-mount design
• Application: Indoor fiber termination
• Material: Durable plastic construction
• Compatibility: Standard fiber optic connectors and adapters

How to use

To install the SecurityNET OUT-0000, first secure the base plate to the wall using appropriate mounting hardware. Route the incoming fiber optic cable through the designated entry ports, ensuring that the minimum bend radius is maintained to prevent signal degradation. Install the required fiber adapters and splice the incoming fiber to the pigtails within the housing. Once all connections are secured and organized, snap the cover into place to protect the internal components from dust and physical damage.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that you have the necessary fiber adapters and splice protectors compatible with your specific network setup.
• Ensure the installation location has sufficient space for cable routing and maintenance access.
• Confirm that the wall surface is suitable for mounting the unit securely.

Usage recommendations

For optimal network performance, always ensure that fiber connections are cleaned before installation and that the cable slack is managed carefully within the outlet to avoid excessive tension on the connectors.
