Replacement 90° Side Pipe for sera UVC-Xtreme 800/1200 Pump, 2 pieces
Replacement 90° Side Pipe for sera UVC-Xtreme 800/1200 Pump, 2 pieces is a pair of pre-shaped elbow connectors designed to attach to the outlet of compatible sera UVC-Xtreme 800 and 1200 aquarium pumps. These 90-degree side pipes allow the pump outlet to be redirected at a right angle, enabling space-saving installation and more flexible hose routing without altering the pump housing or primary outlet orientation.
The set includes two identical elbow pipes molded to fit the pump outlet securely and provide a leak-resistant connection when used with appropriate hoses or fittings. By redirecting the outlet flow at 90 degrees, these side pipes reduce the vertical or lateral space required behind or beside the pump and simplify plumbing in compact aquarium cabinets or crowded filtration setups. The parts are intended for repair or maintenance of compatible pumps, allowing replacement of worn or damaged outlet fittings to restore intended flow direction and positioning.
Turn off and unplug the pump before attempting any replacement. Remove the pump from the aquarium or cabinet if necessary to access the outlet area. Detach the existing outlet fitting or hose from the pump outlet, then push the replacement 90° side pipe onto the pump outlet until it seats firmly. Reattach the hose or fitting to the side pipe connection and ensure all connections are secure. Reinstall the pump, prime or refill as required by the pump model, and restore power only after verifying there are no leaks and that water flow is correct.
Use hoses and fittings that match the pipe diameter and are intended for aquarium use to prevent leaks. Inspect O-rings or sealing surfaces on the pump outlet and side pipe for wear and replace them if necessary. Avoid forcing the pipe onto the outlet; if resistance is excessive, check alignment or warm the plastic slightly to ease installation. Test the installation outside the aquarium first when possible to confirm there are no leaks.
